Attendance and Commitment Policy – Academic Bridge
Students are expected to dedicate themselves fully to their studies.
Taking holidays during the course is not permitted.
If you are unable to attend classes due to illness or other serious reasons, please inform a member of staff immediately.
You must arrive for classes on time and are not permitted to leave early without prior agreement. The school cannot adjust schedules to accommodate work commitments.
Failure to attend classes will result in your status being marked as inactive.
Continued inactivity will lead to a warning.
If you receive three warnings without improving your attendance, you will be expelled from Academic Bridge.
All letters can be requested at the reception.Please allow 3 working days for your letter to be processed.
English Only Policy – Academic Bridge
Academic Bridge is an English Only Zone throughout the school.
As part of your immersion course, English must be the only language spoken in classrooms and common areas. This policy helps create the best environment for improving your language skills.
Learning Support
At Academic Bridge, we are committed to helping every student achieve their learning goals. In addition to your English classes, we offer a range of free academic support services designed to help you improve your English, prepare for assessments and examinations, and build confidence in your language skills.
Academic Tutorials
Students may request an individual tutorial with an Academic Manager to discuss:
- Academic progress
- Assessment results
- Study strategies
- Learning goals
- Progression to the next level
- Examination preparation
Tutorials are arranged by appointment and scheduled in advance.
Remedial Support
If a teacher identifies that a student would benefit from additional support, they may recommend remedial support.
This may include:
- Individual academic guidance
- Extra learning materials
- Self-study recommendations
- An individual learning plan
- Referral to academic workshops

Every month we organise free lunchtime workshops for all enrolled students.
